I don’t come out from behind the camera often, as I’m usually designing an installation or fluffing in the final hours leading up to your big event. I’m Allison Lyons, the owner and lead designer of Modern Floral. We started back in 2017 after moving south from New England. Begun from a venture in repurposing florals for nursing homes and rehab facilities, (originally the Salvaged Flower) Modern Floral has grown and morphed into a full service event floral business. We continually strive to create custom luxury events, artistically inspired and uniquely yours. From the smallest details to the biggest installation, we love the design process and seeing it come together. (And we still work to repurpose flowers as much as possible) When I’m not flowering, you can catch me and my husband, (a high school math teacher) doing home renovations, or romping in the yard with our rescue pup.
